eNews Update - September 2022

Dear Friends of Resilient Ready,

It has been a busy time for the Resilient Ready team as we've spread ourselves across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia in the past few weeks.

We've been delivering on our many projects and sharing how we can help councils, corporates, governments and industry organisations build their resilience capabilities while continuing to support and deliver for their own clients.

A definite highlight was attending the 2022 Disaster & Emergency Management Conference and meeting up with friends old and new to hear (and share!) the latest developments in the space. More on that below.

We also travelled to Lismore in northern New South Wales to talk about our Business Community Resilience (BCR) Toolkit as part of the Business NSW Subject Matter Expert Series. Our visit happened to coincide with the delivery of the NSW floods report by Premier Dominic Perrottet - compulsory reading for everyone working in the disaster and emergency management space.

If you think we can help you and your organisation, please reach out - we're ready to talk any time.

The Resilient Ready Team.

Sharing the BCR Toolkit @ ANZDEMC

Attending the 2022 Disaster & Emergency Management Conference on the Gold Coast recently was the perfect place for founder Renae Hanvin to share Resilient Ready's Business Community Resilience (BCR) Toolkit solution.

The Resilient Ready approach inspired plenty of discussion in a room full of emergency management leaders and change-makers from industry, corporate, government and volunteer agencies.

The local business event was hosted by Jane Laverty, Business NSW Regional Manager for Northern Rivers, someone we have been closely working with as part of the Northern NSW BCR toolkit program roll-out.
